I provide independent social work assessments and specialist adult social care reports in matters involving mental capacity, Court of Protection proceedings, safeguarding, care arrangements and complex adult social care practice.

My experience includes learning disability, autism, mental health, older adults, safeguarding, hospital discharge and multi-agency care and support arrangements.

I accept instructions from solicitors, local authorities and other professionals requiring clear, person-centred and analytically robust assessments and reports. Work includes Mental Capacity Act assessments, CoP3 assessments, best interests work and specialist social care reporting for Court of Protection proceedings.  

I  provide timely communication, proportionate analysis and practical understanding of statutory adult social care systems and processes.

• Mental Capacity Assessments and CoP3 reports. Typically £750 - £1,100. Dependent on the complexity of the instruction.  
• Specialist Court of Protection reports - Quotes individually based on scope and documentation requirements.
• Hourly Rate - £110 p/h.
• Court Attendance £1,100 full day. 
• Urgent Instructions may occur additional fees.  
• Travel time and mileage may be charged where significant travel is required.
